Midori Sushi is a rarity, a sushi buffet worth visiting. Midori is a typical strip mall sushi bar. At lunch they are packed clients lining up for their excellent lunch buffet. The buffet has some hot items like fried rice an gyoza (a Japanese filled dumpling). But the feature is sushi. There are typically severel rolls and different types of nigiri.

Midori is also a worthy dinner destination. The restaurant seems much more intimate in the evening. Sushi quality at Midori is consistently good. While the selection is rather ordinary, the quality is first rate. I make it a regular stop whenever I am in Irving.
